Reward your favourite retailer and nutritional helpline

If you have a favourite equestrian retailer or nutritional helpline that you think offers brilliant service and advice, why not nominate them for a 2012 BETA Business Award – one of the equestrian industry’s highest accolades.

The search has now begun to find worthy winners of the SEIB Retailer of the Year and the HAYGAIN Nutritional Helpline of the Year categories in the British Equestrian Trade Association’s annual business awards.

The SEIB Retailer of the Year award is open to nominations for tack shops and feed merchants, with categories for large and small outlets, as well as for retailers from mail-order and Internet operations.

To nominate, visit www.retaileroftheyear.org.uk, post to BETA, Stockeld Park, Wetherby, West Yorkshire LS22 4AW, email tinar@beta-int.com or fax to 01937 582728 by 6th December 2011.

All nominated retailers will receive a questionnaire from BETA, which should be completed and returned by 31st December 2011. Nominees are then shortlisted, before receiving visits from a mystery shopper and incognito telephone calls to help BETA trade members to select the winners.
 
If you would like to nominate a nutritional helpline that has provided really helpful advice and assistance, send your nominations to the postal or email addresses above, fax to the number above or log on to www.haygain.com and download the nomination form by 11th January 2012. Once nominations close, a shortlist will be drawn up and final judging, involving incognito telephone calls, will be made.

When sending your nominations, please provide the name of the person/company nominated, the award, your reason for nomination and your own name and address.

The BETA Business Awards, now in their ninth year, are presented during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Sunday 19 February 2012.

They include the following categories: The UKTI Export Award, TSM Rider Award, SEIB Retailer of the Year, BETA Lifetime Achievement Award, Equine Careers Sales Representative of the Year, Harry Hall Retail Employee of the Year, ETN Trade Supplier of the Year, Haygain Nutritional Helpline of the Year and the BETA Trade Website of the Year.
