New Sponsor to Support BETA Business Award
The 2012 BETA Business Awards – prestigious accolades that recognise and reward significant contributions to the equestrian industry – have continued to attract support from some of the trade’s most exciting names.
Equine Careers, a recruitment company specialising in office and professional jobs within the equestrian sector, is the latest to add its backing. The business, founded in 2009 by Emma Dyer, will sponsor the Sales Representative of the Year Award.
“We are so excited to be involved with this category,” she said. “Equine Careers has a sales agents database, so it is very relevant to everything we do and really captures the essence of what we are about.”
The Sales Representative of the Year Award recognises excellence in product knowledge and service to retail customers. Nominations for the category are made by retailers, with finalists selected after a period of voting and interviews.
“The BETA Business Awards are now in their ninth year and have continued to grow in popularity year-on-year,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “They are a fantastic way for the trade to recognise and celebrate the achievements of its members and we are delighted to welcome Emma Dyer and Equine Careers to our loyal band of sponsors.”
The winner of the award will be announced during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on 19 February 2012. The BETA Business Awards include the following categories: UKTI Export Award, TSM Rider Award, SEIB Retailer of the Year, BETA Lifetime Achievement Award, Equine Careers Sales Representative of the Year, Harry Hall Retail Employee of the Year, ETN Trade Supplier of the Year, Haygain Nutritional Helpline of the Year and the BETA Trade Website of the Year.
