Joules backs BETA Business Award for Seventh Year Running
The Equestrian Event of the Year – one of the BETA Business Awards’ most highly prized accolades – has secured continued sponsorship from Joules for 2012. This famous clothing and footwear company is providing its backing for the seventh consecutive year.
Created to acknowledge the event at which tradestands are present and that works best with exhibitors, the Joules Equestrian Event of the Year has become a highlight of the awards. The category is open to both indoor and outdoor consumer shows and events, and the winner is likely to be one that views tradestands as an integral part of its success.
“We are extremely grateful to Joules and the rest of our sponsors for their enthusiasm and support,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “This award always proves a popular category and competition can be quite fierce. The BETA Business Awards are a tremendous way for the trade to recognise and celebrate the achievements of its members and the Joules Equestrian Event of the Year makes a very important contribution.”
Nominations for this award, to be submitted by 13 January 2012, are invited from organisers and companies that have participated as tradestand holders at events held since 1 January 2011. They should be sent to Tina Rogers at BETA, email tinar@beta-int.com, clearly marked with the nominee’s name, address and reason for nomination.
The BETA Business Awards, now in their ninth year, are presented during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Sunday 19 February 2012. The categories include: UKTI Export Award, TSM Rider Award, SEIB Retailer of the Year, BETA Lifetime Achievement Award, Equine Careers Sales Representative of the Year, Harry Hall Retail Employee of the Year, ETN Trade Supplier of the Year, Haygain Nutritional Helpline of the Year and the BETA Trade Website of the Year.
