BETA panellist wins prize

Shropshire rider Camilla Bennett has scooped a £50 prize by signing up to the British Equestrian Trade Association’s (BETA) new research panel.

Everyone who joins the Equestrian Consumer Research Panel, which monitors riders’ and horse owners’ buying habits and attitudes, is entered into a prize draw.

It’s free to become a panellist, and each questionnaire takes just minutes to complete via a website. The winner of a prize draw from each survey receives a £50 voucher to spend with a BETA Retailer.

Camilla (30), from Newport, has a 13 year old, 17.3hh Irish sports horse that she events to intermediate level. “Unfortunately, he’s just been diagnosed with a suspected tendon injury, so I’ll be spending my prize on some nice stable toys,” she said.

BETA’s Equestrian Consumer Research Panel is managed by sport and leisure research consultants SportsWise. “It’s a really good idea because it allows riders and horse owners to express their needs and wants,” added Camilla.

Professional and leisure riders and owners are invited to join the Equestrian Consumer Research Panel.
