BETA at two top shows

The British Equestrian Trade Association is out in force this summer, appearing at two of the country’s top shows – the Festival of British Eventing, at Gatcombe Park, from 6 to 8 August, returning as presenting sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, and the CLA Game Fair, at Ragley Hall, in Warwickshire, from 23 to 25 July, as an exhibitor in the Hooked on Horses area.

Both events will see BETA flying the flag for safety as it promotes the benefits of buying from its members, the importance of hat and body protector fitting, and the new BETA hi-viz certification mark. The association will also be seeking to enlist new members for its National Equestrian Panel, an online survey into the buying habits and views of horse riders and owners.

BETA’s mechanical horse, RoboCob, will be on the association’s stand at both events, offering riders the chance to test their skills in the saddle, as well as giving some visitors the opportunity to ride a horse for the first time.

“The events give us the perfect opportunity to meet and talk to visitors from a wide geographical area,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “Awareness of BETA and its work continues to grow, as people learn of the ways in which the association and its members can help them.”
