New Riding Holiday Guide
Whether you’re looking for a summer holiday with treks across golden sands or you’d like an afternoon ride across the Yorkshire Dales, the revised and updated BETA Guide to Riding Holidays can help you.
This glossy A5 booklet is a mine of information, with key contacts and plenty of friendly, expert advice for anyone looking for fun in the saddle, from complete beginners to experienced riders. It is divided into counties, with key-coded symbols for easy identification of facilities such as numbers of horses and ponies, and indoor or outdoor schools. Affiliations and services, including showjumping, trail riding, dressage and hacking, are also highlighted.
The BETA Guide to Riding Holidays is accompanied by the Take up the Reins website, www.takeupthereins.co.uk. Simply search by location or activity to find your perfect riding experience.
“Britain really does offer some great riding and you really can’t beat taking in all its stunning scenery from such a unique perspective,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “The guide brings you some of the finest riding holidays the country has to offer – and, for the first time, we have included centres where you can enjoy organised hacks and treks of less than a day. A great deal of work has gone into both the guide and website, and we are extremely pleased to offer such a tremendous resource for everyone.”
The BETA Guide to Riding Holidays is published by BETA as part of its commitment to promoting horse riding and supporting members of the equestrian trade. Free copies of the guide can be obtained from your local BETA retailer or by contacting Tina Hustler at the BETA office, email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01937 587062.
