Gatcombe 2017 Hamper Winner

Taunton girl Victoria Squire has scooped the British Equestrian Trade Association's star prize – a luxury hamper with £1,500 worth of horsey goodies – in a competition held at the Festival of British Eventing, Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire.

Victoria, 12, who lives a stone's throw from Taunton Racecourse, entered the prize draw to win equestrian gear, clothing and equipment for horse and rider at the event where BETA is the presenting sponsor.

As Victoria does not own a horse of her own, the goodies will no doubt be lavished on her grandfather's two retired racehorses that she helps to care for when she stays with him in Devon.
“We are delighted that Victoria has won the hamper and thrilled that it is going to such a good home,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “Her mother tells us that Victoria often rides a friend's pony, and that she and her older sister, Amelia, love a hack on Exmoor, which is wonderful. We hope that she will enjoy all the fantastic prizes, which were kindly supplied by BETA members.”

Prizes were supplied by Breyer Model Horses, British Horse Feeds, Champion, Charles Owen, Dengie Horse Feeds, Equilibrium Products, Equisafety, Golly Galoshes, KSB Equine, Natural Vet Nutrition, Parallax Plastics, Protexin, Shires Equestrian, Toggi and TopSpec.
