BETA puts British Equestrian companies on the map at WEG
The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) will be putting the nation’s manufacturing prowess, cutting-edge design and quality service firmly on the map at the World Equestrian Games, in Caen, France, from 23 August to 7 September.
Operating from the British Pavilion – made possible with funding from United Kingdom Trade & Investment (UKTI) – BETA will be joined by eight companies offering a diverse range of goods and expertise. It will also represent more than 15 companies in its literature and product showcase.
British companies featured in the pavilion include Dodson & Horrell, Shires Equestrian Products, Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging and Equilibrium Products.
British riders and those from other teams are set to bring an air of competition to the pavilion when they pay a visit to test their skills on a Racewood jumping simulator. Visitors will be able to take part in a prize draw to win a fabulous collection of British goods.
“WEG is a brilliant opportunity for the British equestrian industry to takes its place on the world stage,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “Britain is renowned for its style, design capability, safety, craftsmanship, value for money and immense breadth of knowledge – characteristics that buyers are keen to invest in.
“BETA trade missions are a fantastic venture for any company seeking to broaden export markets. WEG, in particular, offers us a high-profile event with global interest. BETA and those in the British Pavilion will benefit from contact with a large and diverse audience, and enjoy the chance to explore business potential within France.”
